Foreign-invested firms in China up 20.7 percent in Q1

Recently, Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced that the number of newly established foreign-invested firms in China hit 12,000 in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024, up 20.7 percent year on year.

Shanghai is one of the places which is most favored by foreign investors. Service industry has the most number of foreign invested firm incorporated in 2024 Q1, followed by wholesales and retails companies.
