The new China Company Law has come into force on July 1, 2024
Besides other amendments, Article 47 of the new Company Law stipulates shareholders of a Limited Liability Company (LLC) must pay their subscribed capital in full within five years of the company's establishment. In an LLC, the subscribed capital is the company's registered capital, which must be registered with the company registration authority upon establishment.
